Beginning Knitting Workshop, ages 11+

1 – 4 pm

Learn the basics of English-style knitting in one afternoon, and create something more interesting than a potholder! You will learn knitting basics and make an adorable stuffed bunny. You’ll also receive an easy-to-follow pattern to take home so you can make more of them. No previous knitting experience is required. This is also a great “brush up” class if you would like to relearn your lost knitting skill. Kids age 11+ are welcome.

Bring: 1 pr. Size 11 straight needles, a skein of bulky weight yarn and a tapestry needle. (Suggestion: look for wooden or plastic needles, which are much easier to handle than aluminum ones.) Handouts and all other materials will be provided. Please contact The Octagon if you have questions about the materials required.
