Children’s Picture Book Design and Self-publishing

Ages: 15 years old and up

Description:

Have you always wanted to create you very own children’s book but just don’t know how to get it off the ground? Self-published children’s author and Illustrator of My Very Silly Monster, Tim Read will share what he has learned on his creative journey into children’s publishing. He will talk about the ins and outs of self-publishing as well as the challenges of the genre.

Students will have an opportunity to share their manuscript and receive positive constructive feedback from other classmates and the instructor. Students will learn the basics of layout/design and benefits of online print-on-demand publishing.

Registration closes when the class fills or on at 6am on 12/5/19. Students cannot be added after the registration closes.
